UNC STV / Shows / Five Down Five Down ABOUT | PHOTOS | VIDEOS | CAST | CONTACT CAST NAME: Craig LaMarsh ROLE: Writer, Director, Editor, Cinematographer, “Terry” INFORMATION: Craig LaMarsh is a fifth year senior at UNC double majoring in media production and German, with a minor in writing for the stage and screen. After attending UNC-Charlotte for two and a half years, and spending a semester in Stuttgart Germany, he transferred to UNC in the Fall of 2006. LaMarsh has worked for STV since December of the same year. He is a writer/producer on STV’s resident soap opera “General College” where he also plays Adrian Grenadine. “Terry” – Terry is a loyal friend. He has his own share of problems but always attempts compromises to include the interests of everyone else. Terry isn’t rewarded, but rather punished, for his loyalty. However, he is not as sweet and innocent as he’d like everyone to think. He, like every other character in Five Down, has his own secrets to keep buried. Terry is also the narrator of sorts in “Five Down”. NAME: Brie Nash ROLE: “Kim” INFORMATION: Brie Nash is a Sophomore from Charlotte, NC. In addition to running and starring in her own show on STV's “Highphenated," as well as acting on STV’s resident soap opera “General College," Brie plays the character of Kim on “Five Down." “Kim” - Kim is a feisty character whose true intentions remain buried beneath her stone cold demeanor. Is she telling the truth? Is she lying? Just whose side is Kim really on? Who knows? Will you? NAME: Andy Nichols ROLE: "Noah" INFORMATION: Andy Nichols is a Business Major here at UNC. He has partaken in theater projects in the past. However, playing Noah on “Five Down” is the first major film production with which he has been involved. NAME: Brittany Edney ROLE: “Maura” INFORMATION: Brittany Edney is a journalism major here at UNC. For two seasons she has played “Molly” on STV’s resident soap opera, “General College." Brittany is from Wilmington, NC, and is interested in entering the entertainment news field. “Maura” – Maura is an openly opinionated yet somewhat secretive character with more to her than originally meets the eye. It appears that Maura is submissive to her boyfriend, but closer scrutiny reveals there is more to her than her role as a manipulating girlfriend. Will Maura’s forwardness be the end of her? With Five Down, there’s no telling until the end. NAME: Kyle Billings ROLE: “Jackson” INFORMATION: Kyle Billings is a senior at UNC. For two seasons he has played the role of “Harold” on STV’s resident soap opera, “General College.” Kyle is also an athlete and a mentor. “Jackson” – Jackson is calm, cool, collective, and always the one in control of everything…or is he? Jackson is power hungry, yet is his power real? Unafraid of using violence to get his point across, Jackson will do anything to anyone if he feels it will benefit his overall plan. Using his friends and even family as pawns, Jackson has it all under control…or is it the other way around? Does everyone control him? NAME: Haley Koch ROLE: “Terri” INFORMATION: Haley Koch is a sophomore here at UNC from Washington, D.C. Haley played the role of “Ashlyn” on STV’s resident soap opera “General College” last season. She can currently be seen on STV in Brie Nash’s show, “Highphenated." Haley has a vast majority of interests, especially in the field of Global Issues and world Politics. “Terri” – Terri, not to be mistaken for Terry, is a girl with a lot to say. She appears to be frustrated with life as though there were no excitement left in hers. However, excitement lingers around every corner for her. Terri finds comfort in her friends but sometimes turns to gossip and spreading rumors to spice up the lives of herself and others with disastrous results. Terri seems to be everywhere at the same time, yet in the end always ends up alone…especially when she doesn’t get her way…which could lead to severe consequences for those closest to her. NAME: Alexis Dennis ROLE: Production Assistant INFORMATION: Alexis has a vast knowledge of the technical aspects in filmmaking…including cinematography, lighting, and camera operation, which have helped make Five Down to be what it is. NAME: Lisa Saenz ROLE: Script Supervisor INFORMATION: Lisa is a bright spirit who has made wonderful contributions to the production of Five Down. Her suggestions and ideas have proven invaluable. NAME: Streater Kelley ROLE: Dolly Operator INFORMATION: Streater plays “Luke” on STV’s resident soap opera, “General College.” His loyalty to the production of Five Down has been remarkable. Without him, some of the most intricate shots in Five Down would not have been possible.
